MACROSS 7 FLEET

THE HOLLYWOOD

The Hollywood entertainment ship is based on an older ship design, and instead of a transparent dome is bisected into three sections horizontally. The top section contains amusement facilities such as arcades, movie theatres, theme parks, and holographic amusement centers, as well as restaurants and bars. The center part of the top section is dedicated to replica's of Earth's most famous cities, such as Paris, New York, and London. The middle section houses the engines of the ship and also contains living areas for colonists who are residents of the Hollywood. The lower levels are entirely dedicated to filmmaking and audio production, with studios and computer labs containing the latest audio and video technology.

The Hollywood provides a welcome change from the monotony of drifting through space day after day. The Hollywood ships of each Macross fleet communicate with each other through a channel called the Galaxy Network, exchanging the latest news on entertainment. This keeps all fleets current with the new hot stars and bands, as well as any newly developed games. Fire Bomber's music was heard by many of the Macross fleets as a result of the Galaxy Network.

The Hollywood flies attached to an escort battle carrier that acts much like Battle 7 and carries squadrons of VF fighters.
