First appearance: episode 1
Little is known about Veffidas' past, which is what makes her so intriguing an object to the various media personnel who follow Fire Bomber. Before she was micronized, Veffidas was known as a "street fighter," earning her living through athletic ability and hand to hand combat. How she ended this career and became the drummer of Fire Bomber is unclear, but she and Basara first saw each other at one of her many matches. However, the Zentradi male she was fighting this time was apparently a former lover.
PERSONALITY
Veffidas' intimidating and unsmiling demeanor bars many people from trying to become better acquainted with her. As her bandmates know, however, Veffidas is actually a very gentle, kind, and also very wise woman. She speaks very little, but when she does, her words are meaningful. She and Ray seem to understand each other well, and even Basara and Mylene take her advice very seriously. The only complaint any of them might have about Veffidas is her incessant drumming on any surface she can find because she carries her drumsticks everywhere. There are times when she seems to answer questions with her drumming instead of out loud.
APPEARANCE
As a micronized Zentradi, Veffidas bears all the Zentradi traits: pointed ears, pale skin, and green hair. She is usually seen wearing her concert outfit, consisting of a red cape, a blue jumpsuit, and blue finger-less gloves. Her flightsuit is blue and purple, with red gloves.
MUSIC
Veffidas has a passion for rhythm which might stem from her past as a fighter. Even without the other band members present, she will play drum patterns of different Fire Bomber songs on a drumset or any surface available. Later in the series, it is discovered that Veffidas' drumming can also be a source of sound energy generation.
Veffidas plays drums on all Fire Bomber songs as well as the introduction duet at the beginning of concerts with Ray.
