Attacked by the mysterious enemy Protodeviln, the fleet was forced to land on the planet Lux. Although this enemy causes destruction, their main purpose is not to destroy the fleet, but to steal the Spiritia, or spiritual energy of those they attack. The leader of these enemies is a man named Gepernich. The body he occupies is not his own. His true body remains asleep on the fourth planet in the faraway Varauta system. More powerful Protodeviln are awakening from this planet and terrorizing the fleet. But Sivil, one of the Protodeviln, ignored Gepernich's plans and went out on her own, and now sleeps as she floats. Gigile, who had obeyed Gepernich until now has taken off looking for Sivil, irritating Gepernich.
