Valgo is the third Protodeviln to be awakened, following Sivil and Gabil/Grabil. He is shaped much like Gigil's true form, with a huge demonic looking body and dragonlike wings. Valgo is capable of generating pinkish creatures from an area in his stomach, which he calls his "minions." These swarms of creatures carry out his attacks for him, plastering themselves over people and draining their spiritia. Valgo and Gabil are bitter rivals, though Valgo seems much less concerned with the rivalry than Gabil is.
At the final battle on Planet GGT, Valgo extended a force field to stop the Macross 7 fleet from folding from the planet's surface, intending to hold them there until they could be brainwashed for the Spiritia Farm. However, Gigil's human body was killed by Gabil in the middle of the battle, and his true form awoke on the Varautan ice planet. Arriving at Planet GGT, Gigil began to generate enormous amounts of energy and destroyed the planet, taking Valgo along with it in the resulting explosion.
